The Cycle Tourism Show is much more than an event: it is a concentration of stories, experiences, emotions. It is the place where new travel ideas are born, where unexpected destinations are discovered and where the passion for the bicycle becomes shared story.
Because let’s face it: traveling by bike is very beautiful… but doing it in company is even more so. Sharing the effort of the climb, the wonder of a panorama, and (why not) a beer at the end of the stage makes every adventure more intense.
Yet it is not always easy to find the right person to leave with: someone with similar times, the same spirit, the same desire to explore. Precisely from here a new initiative of the Show of Cycle Tourism is born: to create a space where people can meet, get to know each other and start planning trips together.
A notice board to find new travel companions
During the Show you will find a notice board dedicated to travel announcements, designed to put in contact male and female cycle tourists with similar dreams.
1For all three days of the Show, you will be able to hang up your message, or read the proposals of others and begin to imagine the next adventure.
The notice board will be placed in a relax area in front of the Stories Stage, a perfect place to stop, browse the announcements, exchange a few words live, get to know each other and perhaps discover that your next travel companion is right there next to you, with the same map in your head and the same enthusiasm in your eyes.
Precisely on that stage the initiative will also be officially presented with a dedicated moment: it will be the occasion to talk about the project, explain how the notice board works and invite everyone to actively participate.
Because meeting new people is one of the most beautiful parts of traveling, and bicycle holidays become even more special when they are born from a casual meeting, from a small sheet of paper hung on a notice board, from a “shall we leave together?”.
