Treviso Ostiglia FEST 2025: Italy’s Longest Cycling Festival

The Treviso Ostiglia FEST is back for its fourth edition — Italy’s only festival that unfolds along more than 70 kilometers of cycling and walking paths, crossing two provinces, dozens of municipalities, and hundreds of stories.

From May 1 to May 4, 2025, this open-air celebration will bring the long spring weekend to life with over 130 events, tailored for all ages, centered on slow mobility, local heritage, and experiential tourism.

The festival is the result of a wide collaboration among local hospitality providers, cultural associations, farmers, local administrations, and tourism operators. Born as a grassroots initiative, it has grown into a powerful collective event — a joyful gathering that tells the story of a vibrant region, rich in beauty, history, and community spirit.

The program features guided walks and bike tours, some departing directly from local accommodations, and includes accessible itineraries designed to welcome all participants.

Families will enjoy dedicated activities such as storytelling walks organized by local libraries, bringing multiple towns together in a shared moment of discovery and fun.

Visitors will also have the chance to connect with the authentic soul of the Venetian countryside, through experiences like the Ca’ Marcello farm tour, which explores the area’s agricultural roots, or hands-on workshops at educational farms such as Ca’ de Memi, Vita da Lumaca, Fattoria da Vicky, and Rio Storto.

Food and flavor take center stage, with tastings of local delicacies — from rice grown at the Riseria delle Abbadesse, to Fria craft beer, to the renowned Badoere IGP white asparagus.

All along the cycling route, pop-up themed villages will create vibrant meeting points, where music, performances, and local specialties will entertain visitors from morning till night. The program also includes exclusive openings of historic villas and scenic gems of the Veneto region, such as Villa Cornaro, Ca’ Marcello, Villa Contarini, and Villa Tretti.

New this year, the festival opens up to international visitors, with selected guided tours offered in both Italian and English, such as the visit to Oasi Cornara.

“Treviso Ostiglia FEST is, above all, an invitation to slow down, to take the time to experience the landscape — one pedal stroke, one step at a time. To rediscover the beauty of our land in a sustainable, convivial way that reflects its cultural richness,” say the organizers.

The festival is supported by the Veneto Region as part of the strategic project Green Tour – Verde in Movimento, aimed at sustainable regional marketing and development.
