Kety Piras is a bicycle mechanic and entrepreneur based in Cagliari. She founded Cycle Hub, a workshop and workspace that combines repair services, training, and the promotion of active mobility culture.
She is an advocate and expert in cycling mobility. She completed the University of Verona course in this field, was appointed Bicycle Mayor of Cagliari (an international recognition promoted by BYCS), and is an Ambassador for Women in Cycling. She actively collaborates with the association Donne in bici e micromobilità, working on educational activities, project development, and advocacy related to everyday bicycle use.
For years, she has focused on the relationship between bicycles, cities, and work, dealing with urban cycling, cycle tourism, and the development of professional skills related to the bicycle sector. She brings a practical, experience-based perspective into public and educational contexts, with particular attention to new professions in the field and to the role of women in the bike economy and in urban space.
