Turin-based architect, born in 1970, Gianluca Pin has always worked on a simple and stubborn idea: making the bicycle a natural, pleasant, and accessible choice for everyone. After over twenty years of experience in sustainable mobility and bike sharing, in 2018 he gave life to Weelo, a project that places people, territories, and the pleasure of cycling at its center.
A vision that has already received important recognition: from the 2023 Sustainable Development Award to the finals of the 2025 Smart City Awards, Weelo’s results validate the effectiveness of the “weelosophy,” an approach based on the idea that moving sustainably is a winning choice for the individual and, at the same time, a concrete benefit for the community.
This same vision today unfolds in the world of bike tourism, with the goal of making the bicycle a natural part of the journey through an integrated network of automated and always accessible bike parking and bike rental.
