Fiorenza is an engineer and a certified environmental hiking guide who has always loved exploring nature and traveling slowly. Over time, she found a way to combine this passion with her work, moving between the worlds of outdoor activities and technology.
After graduating in engineering and qualifying as an environmental hiking guide, in 2020 she began working in the field of digital platforms dedicated to outdoor activities, where data and technology increasingly help people discover landscapes by cycling or walking.
Since 2022, she has been part of the team at Komoot, the largest European platform for planning and sharing outdoor experiences. In her role, she collaborates with tourist destinations and regional organizations across several European countries, with a particular focus on Italy and Spain.
Through the analysis of platform data and ongoing dialogue with destinations and local stakeholders, Fiorenza supports the development of projects related to cycle tourism and outdoor tourism, helping regions better understand traveler trends and build strategies that are more sustainable and closely connected to local communities.
