Andrea Heinrich is Project Manager of APS Velostazione Venezia and curator of the storytelling bike festival “PAVÈ, pedalando a Venezia” (PAVÈ, cycling in Venice). He has been working in the field of communication and cultural planning for many years, with a particular focus on sustainable tourism, active mobility, and urban transformation.
PAVÈ, pedalando a Venezia is a storytelling bike festival that takes place over three days of meetings, cinema, workshops, and a spectacular Gravel Ride around the Venice Lagoon. It is a popular and well-known event that addresses slow tourism, ecological transition, and the future of the region to a wide and attentive audience. The fifth edition of the festival will be held on May 8, 9, and 10, 2026.
La Velostazione Venezia APS is a social promotion association that has been active since July 2020 in the heart of the Metropolitan City of Venice. It is a club dedicated to cycling and active mobility, committed to promoting the daily and recreational use of bicycles, road safety, cycle touring, and the organization of cultural events. Through practices, projects, and public discussions, La Velostazione spreads an updated vision of urban renewal, demotorization, and more livable, inclusive, and welcoming cities.
In his speech at the Cycle Tourism Fair, Andrea Heinrich will introduce the fifth edition of the PAVÈ festival and explain how an APS can become a powerful community generator, contributing to the construction of a new culture of cycling and sustainable mobility.
