Holds a degree in Resource Economics and Sustainable Development from the University of Bologna and from the Master in Strategic Environmental Management at the University of Padua, and is an ESG Specialist at Spin Life s.r.l., a spin-off of the University of Padua. He supports companies and public bodies in certification processes for environmental and social sustainability (SA8000, ISO 37101, UNI PDR 125:2022, etc.), integrating national and international best practices and standards with a view to continuously improving the sustainability performance of organizations.
He worked for several years in Copenhagen, Denmark, at the Foundation for Environmental Education (FEE), coordinating international certification processes in the sustainable tourism sector for destinations and tourist facilities in more than 55 countries worldwide, having worked with internationally renowned programs such as Blue Flag and Green Key International.
He collaborates on behalf of Spin Life s.r.l. with the partnership of the INTERREG GUSTI Project (Gastro UpScaled Tourist Itinerary in rural regions of Croatia and Italy), aimed at promoting sustainable tourism in the rural areas of Italy and Croatia, creating common strategies for sustainable tourism development, and capacity-building for local tourism operators within the project.
