Alessandra Schepisi is a journalist for Radio24 – Il Sole 24 Ore, where she has been present since the launch of the station in 1999. She works in the Rome newsroom, where she deals with political and economic news and radio news programs as deputy head of service.
For over 10 years she has focused on topics related to sustainable mobility, bicycles, and cycle tourism. From 2018 to 2022 on Radio24 she hosted “A Ruota Libera,” a weekly program entirely dedicated to the world of bicycles: from sustainable mobility to cycle tourism, to the cultural and social aspects related to two wheels. This commitment earned her the “Journalist Friend of the Bicycle” award from FIAB (Italian Federation for Environment and Bicycle).
From 2022 to today she hosts Grand Tour A Ruota Libera, a weekly program dedicated to cycle tourism. She is the author, together with Pierpaolo Romio (CEO of Girolibero), of the book 24 Stories of Bikes, published by Il Sole 24 Ore.
