Traveling by bike means being swept away by a happiness that accompanies every pedal stroke and that, even when the journey ends, remains imprinted in your memories, ready to resurface every time you tell it. There are landscapes that never fade from memory, scents that take you back in time, sensations so strong you want to experience them again and again.
Perhaps this is why many cycle tourists keep diaries, take photographs, or shoot videos: to capture those moments and share them with others. After all, happiness grows when it is shared.
No bike journey is trivial
At the Cycle Tourism Show, from March 27 to 29, 2026, in Padua, there will be a space dedicated to this very purpose: a stage designed to give voice to pedal-powered stories. It doesn’t matter whether you have crossed continents or cycled along the Italian coast for the first time: every bike journey has a unique value, because it tells the story of people who chose to step out of their comfort zone to discover something new.
If you have a story to share, this is the moment. We invite you to apply to tell it live during the Show. Among all submissions, we will select the most compelling stories, and in addition to the opportunity to take the stage, some stories will also be featured on Bikeitalia.
