890 km to experience the heart of the Apennines by e-bike
1Magic Italy’s Centre – Ermes’ routes, born from the Next Apennine program, presents 29 e-bike tourism routes, in the territory of 26 municipalities between Abruzzo, Lazio, and Marche, which connect villages, natural parks, and landscapes of extraordinary beauty in the heart of central Italy.
The itineraries, inspired by the legend of Ermes, invite you to cycle slowly among nature, culture, and local traditions.
The routes develop along secondary roads with low traffic, dirt sections, and cycle-pedestrian paths, suitable for different levels of experience, and offer to cycle-tourists: dedicated signage, digital services, charging and rental points, and navigation tools. An integrated system that connects communities, tourist realities, and travelers, promoting sustainable and conscious tourism.
Our 29 routes, through the central Apennines, are subdivided into five destinations all to be discovered:
Gran Sasso and Abruzzo Plateaus
Ovindoli, L’Aquila, L’Aquila – Gran Sasso, Campotosto, Castel del Monte, Capestrano, Navelli, San Demetrio ne’ Vestini, Fossa, Poggio Picenze, Scoppito, Tornimparte.
Aterno Valley and Marsican area

Teramo area and Laga Mountains
