Founded in 1952 by cycling industry pioneer Gaspare Lombardo, Lombardo Bikes manufactures over 150 models of traditional and electric bicycles, overseeing every stage of development—from design and engineering to wheel assembly and frame painting.

From the very beginning, Lombardo has promoted bicycles as a daily means of transportation, anticipating modern trends. In 2010, it was among the first companies in Italy to produce electric bicycles and today stands as the largest fully Italian-owned company in the sector. With two production plants in Sicily and one in Germany, the company also stands out for its commitment to sustainability, generating 100% of its electricity from renewable sources.

With 67% of its production dedicated for export, Lombardo Bikes has established itself as an international leader. The company is dedicated to inclusion and corporate welfare policies, boasting over 35% female workforce and encouraging the return of Sicilian talent, strengthening its connection with the local community.

Lombardo Bikes has received numerous awards for its quality, innovation, and commitment to corporate welfare. The company was honored with the “Industria Felix Excellence Award,” ranking among the 86 most competitive businesses in Southern Italy.
