Imagine a group of friends on the Stelvio Pass, tired but satisfied, leaning on their trusty bicycles, wondering how to share what they have experienced, how to help others achieve a similar feat on two wheels. This is how Ediciclo Editore was born in 1987, and the first three volumes of the Il Grimpeur series, dedicated to cycling climbs, hit the bookstores.
“Three volumes that should not be missing from any cyclist’s library. […] Three books written with passion and sweat. A labor that deserves unconditional praise.”
(Alberto Carobba, Il Gazzettino, April 16, 1988)

Over the years, the publisher’s catalog has expanded with new titles and new series. In addition to the ever-present theme of cycling—explored in various forms such as cycle tourism, climbs, mountain biking, manuals, and historical cycling—an increasing focus has been placed on travel, hiking, trekking, slow tourism, and sustainable mobility.
Walking and pilgrimage along the great routes and ancient trails have gained growing importance over time, becoming a cornerstone of the catalog.
Several collections of travel literature have been created, alongside biographies of great champions and extraordinary individuals, offering different perspectives on how to live and experience the world.
