The Federazione Ciclistica Italiana makes its organizational structure, widespread throughout the country, available to sustainable mobility projects.
The professionalism of technicians and members can make a beneficial contribution to the development and dissemination of awareness that the bicycle can be an ecological, economic, healthy means of transport and a fundamental means for the promotion of the territory.
The project aims to network all the subjects involved in the sector of “tourism by bike”, “territorial promotion” and “sustainable mobility”, who adapt to the professional parameters and promotion of the use of the bicycle.
These entities, such as public administrations, accommodation facilities, food and wine producers, bike rental companies, cycle tourism guides, artistic, historical and cultural attractions are qualified by the Federazione Ciclistica Italiana as “BIKE HOSPITALITY” with the logo of the same Federation and included in all promotional activities.
The project is carried out in collaboration with Maitour s.r.l. by virtue of an agreement stipulated between the Federazione Ciclistica Italiana and Maitour s.r.l. and, among other things, concerns the territory of the Marche Region where the cycle tourism offer is spreading more and more and where, thanks to the beautiful landscapes and other regional tourist resources, the attention of bike lovers from other Italian regions and abroad is growing.
The Marche Regional Committee of the F.C.I. is the body responsible for supervising the correct application of the activities and compliance with the standards and values that characterize the Federazione Ciclistica Italiana and the Bike Hospitality project.
