The Italian School of Cycle Tourism ETS is a training institution specializing in the preparation of cycle tourism professionals, with a particular focus on cycle tourism guides.
It is exclusively responsible for training Cycling Tour Guides on behalf of the Italian Cycling Tour Guide Association (A.G.C.I.), a professional body recognized by the Ministry of Enterprise and Made in Italy, guaranteeing high ethical, methodological, and professional standards.
The training program is designed to foster a professional mindset.
The courses include modules that integrate legal recognition, tax and social security framework, group management, safety, first aid, sustainability, itinerary planning, with a focus on effective communication, responsible tourism ethics, and respect for the communities and environmental contexts visited.
The School collaborates with institutional and sectoral entities to ensure that its training programs are aligned with market needs and current regulations. With this in mind, collaboration agreements have been signed with the Ministry of Tourism, Federparchi, the associations FareAmbiente and Italiana Nostra, and the Movimento Sportivo Popolare.
The aim is to train professionals capable of offering customers an experiential cycling tourism experience, while also contributing to local economic development by promoting biodiversity, culture, and the landscape.
The School aims to be a national reference point for the training of Cycling Tour Guides who operate with technical skills and ethical sensitivity, offering up-to-date educational courses, modern teaching tools, and opportunities for recognized qualification and certification.
