From March 19 to 21, 2027, the sixth edition of the Cycle Tourism Show will take place in Padua, at the Fiera di Padova. The event is organized by Bikenomist.
The Cycle Tourism Show is the largest Italian event entirely dedicated to destinations, operators, and manufacturers of components and accessories in the cycling world.
The event brings together and connects all professionals in the cycle tourism sector, from tour operators to bike hotels, from bicycle manufacturers to the most attractive travel destinations. It is also a meeting point for families, sports enthusiasts, and all lovers of cycling adventures and outdoor tourism looking for advice and inspiration for their next bike holiday.
Friday 19 March is reserved for trade professionals, with the Cycle Tourism Forum and the Workshop, featuring one-to-one meetings with international buyers. On Saturday 20 and Sunday 21 March the Show opens to the public, with free admission upon registration.
A Show that keeps on growing
During its last edition, the Cycle Tourism Show recorded the participation of 265 operators from Italy and abroad and over 27,000 enthusiasts as visitors, as well as more than 120 leading speakers in over 80 sessions.
In 2027 the Show grows again: 20,000 square metres of exhibition space, over 300 exhibitors and co-exhibitors expected, more than 60 international buyers and over 5,000 trade professionals. The halls will be organised by discipline into four areas: (e)Road, (e)MTB, (e)Gravel (gravel roads and bikepacking) and Events Area.
The Show will host the presentation of the second edition of the Cycle Tourism Index by Bikenomist and komoot, and of the report “Viaggiare con la bici” (Travelling by bike) by Isnart-Unioncamere, which estimates 49 million cycle tourism overnight stays in Italy in 2025, worth €6.4 billion.

Padua, and beyond: an international outlook
With its 195 kilometers of bike paths, Padua is the Italian city with the highest ratio of cycling infrastructure to urban area. In addition, the entire province offers a dense and well-developed network of cycling routes leading to major tourist attractions: from the Euganean Hills loop to the Saint Anthony route, from the Bacchiglione River path to the former Treviso–Ostiglia railway, and many more.
The Cycle Tourism Show will add value to a region that has already shown strong interest in cycle tourism and the bicycle economy. However, the fair’s focus will be international.
The goal is to provide a meeting point for cycle tourism professionals, supporting sector growth beyond Italy’s borders and offering a more international and increasingly inclusive perspective.
