The Ciclovia Adriatica (Adriatic Cycle Route) represents the heart of this two-wheeled journey: a coastal route that crosses the region from north to south, uniting the sea, hillside towns, and natural landscapes that open up to view pedal stroke after pedal stroke. From the main route, a network of cycle paths develops, branching off inland, creating a “comb-like” structure, ideal for exploring the territory and reaching the cycle paths of the hinterland.
Among these, the Ciclovia delle Abbazie (Abbeys Cycle Route) winds for 69 km from the Adriatic inland, passing through medieval villages, Romanesque churches, and landscapes rich in charm. The Ciclo Appenninica Alte Marche (Upper Marche Apennine Cycle Route), approximately 200 km long, can be reached from the Ciclovia del Foglia (Foglia Cycle Route)—which connects Urbino and Acqualagna—or directly from Fano, always connected to the coast. The route crosses nine municipalities in the Marche hinterland, offering a complete immersion in nature, culture, and traditions.

For mountain bike enthusiasts, the Grande Anello dei Sibillini (Great Sibilline Ring) covers about 180 km and is accessible via the Ciclovia delle Abbazie. The itinerary winds along forest and secondary roads in the Sibilline Mountains Park, with stages that can be adjusted based on the level of preparation, offering an immersive experience in contact with highly suggestive natural environments.
The network of cycle routes allows you to discover the Marche region in a slow and sustainable way, amidst nature, identity, and widespread hospitality. The offering is completed by bike-friendly facilities, rental services, and specialized guides, which make every itinerary accessible and well-organized. Cycling in the Marche region means crossing diverse landscapes and enjoying a travel experience where every stop adds a new perspective on the territory.
