Massimo Momolo

Vice President of the Province of Padua – Delegate for Cycle Paths and Policies for the Promotion of Sustainable Mobility, Cycle Tourism, Thermal Tourism

Massimo Momolo was born in Monselice and has always lived in Battaglia Terme, of which he served as mayor from 2014 to 2024. A qualified surveyor, he worked for 43 years as a municipal technician. He is currently Vice President of the Province of Padua with responsibilities for cycle paths and policies promoting sustainable mobility, cycle tourism, and thermal tourism, and he is also a councilor of the Municipality of Battaglia Terme.

In his institutional career, he has followed and supported various initiatives for the development of cycling infrastructure and the enhancement of the territory, including the redevelopment of sections of the Treviso–Ostiglia cycle path, with paving works, vegetation safety measures, and completion of green areas. He has also promoted extraordinary maintenance works on the Euganean Hills Ring, as well as initiatives to improve safety at intersections between the main provincial cycling routes and regular road traffic. Among the activities promoting the territory are also support for BAM – Bicycle Adventure Meeting and the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding for the Bacchiglione Cycle Route.

Passionate about sports since a young age, he practiced basketball and long-distance running; today he continues to cultivate his connection with the territory through excursions on the Euganean Hills trails and cycling. He loves reading, cinema, and genuine, long-lasting friendships.
