Direttore del Parco Regionale Gallipoli Cognato Piccole Dolomiti Lucane

Forest scientist and public administrator with over thirty years of experience in the management of protected areas, environmental policies, and territorial development. He graduated in Forestry Sciences from the University of Basilicata and has worked since 2003 at the Gallipoli Cognato Piccole Dolomiti Lucane Regional Park Authority, where he currently serves as Director.

Over the course of his career, he has coordinated numerous projects focused on biodiversity conservation, forest management, and the sustainable enhancement of local territories through regional, national, and European programs.

He is the author of scientific and popular publications on wildlife, natural habitats, and environmental management. Married and the father of two children, he enjoys outdoor life, practicing nordic walking and running. Passionate about the quiet of the woods and direct contact with nature, he is currently serving his second term as mayor of the small municipality of Cirigliano, where he puts his experience and his deep love for the territory at the service of the community.
