Alberto Pia

President of Associazione Guide e Accompagnatori cicloturistici

Graduated in Business Economics at the University of Turin, he is a Cycling Tour Guide of the Piedmont Region and a national MTB Instructor-Trainer certified by AiCS. He is a founding member and president of AGAC, an association established in 2022 for the protection and promotion of the Cycling Tour Guide profession.

He has been involved for over 25 years in teaching and training in the world of cycling, coordinating and delivering lessons in the courses for Cycling Tour Guides of the Piedmont Region and in national courses for MTB Instructors and Cycle-Tourism Guides, as well as managing courses on bicycle mechanics and MTB riding techniques.

Since 2005, through ASD Anemos Itinerari del Vento APS, he has been following projects to introduce MTB and bicycles as a means of transport aimed at schools of all levels, involving, to date, over 20,000 students.

He coordinates inclusion projects related to the world of bicycles and cycle tourism, aimed at young people in situations of educational emergency or with disabilities.

He is responsible for the PedalaTo® project, a tourist service active since 2012, offering guided tours of the city of Turin on e-bikes.

He is CEO of Anemos Bike Srl-Turro, a company producing bicycles and providing services dedicated to cyclists and institutions.
