Enrico Della Torre is the General Manager of Vivi Appennino and a key figure in the development of Appennino Bike Tour, the Apennine cycle route, over 3,100 km connecting Italy from Liguria to Sicily.
A promoter of sustainable mobility and the enhancement of inland areas, he coordinates the project that transforms the Apennines from a barrier to a unifying thread.
He is a supporter of slow tourism, the enhancement of villages, and synergy between institutions and the territory. He is active in organizing the ABT Festival and promoting the Apennines as a bike-friendly destination.
Della Torre has supported the project since the G7 Environment Summit in Bologna in 2017.
