Terres Monviso is a cross-border project between Italy and France that promotes an extraordinary area: six valleys in the province of Cuneo and the Saluzzo plain on the Italian side, and Guillestrois, Ubaye, and Queyras on the French side.
The area is ideal for cycling tourism, as demonstrated by the Tour de France and Giro d’Italia, which pass through its more than 16 Alpine passes. With around 3,000 km of routes for sports enthusiasts and families, it is a true paradise for road bikes and mountain bikes.
The link with great cycling continues: on June 7, Saluzzo will host the final stage of the Giro d’Italia Women, one of the most eagerly awaited events on the women’s world calendar.
“Scalate Leggendarie” allows you to experience iconic climbs (Agnello, Montoso, Sampeyre, Pian del Re, Fauniera, S. Anna di Vinadio, Montemale) on closed roads, with dedicated tourist packages. Seven days of excitement at the foot of Monviso in July.
