ActiveItaly is a network of businesses dedicated to active and sustainable tourism. Founded in July 2020, it brings together 34 travel agencies and tour operators based throughout Italy.
By “active and sustainable tourism,” we mean a form of travel that combines physical or sporting activities—at any level of difficulty—with meaningful travel experiences, fostering awareness, respect, and care for the territories visited, their culture, and the people who live there. This approach enhances both the physical and mental well-being of participants and the quality of life within local communities.
ActiveItaly positions itself as a reference point and support hub for this tourism sector by implementing targeted initiatives aimed at fostering dialogue with institutions and other stakeholders within the tourism system, as well as delivering training programs for a range of organizations, entities and events.
